BCC 5SS THURSDAY NIGHT SWISS (TNS) SETS THE STANDARD FOR SERIOUS CHESS IN NEW ENGLAND

THE MAY TNS WAS A 5 ROUND (5 THURSDAYS IN THE MONTH) SWISS FEATURING BCC VETERAN PLAYERS, EXPERT ALEX SLIVE AND TERRENCE FRICKER
AS CO-WINNERS OF THE EVENT EACH SCORING 4 POINTS.
Expert Alex Slive undefeated in 5 rounds, shares 1-2nd place in May TNS.
Terrence Fricker also went undefeated in 5 rounds sharing 1-2nd in May TNS.
Ted Cross plays Alex Slive in Round 5: draw!
Ted scored 3.5 points good for 3-4th place in the May TNS.
BCC President and event TD, Nathan Smolensky, plays Joel Wald in May TNS: draw!
Nathan finished with 3.5 points sharing 3-4th place. Wald notched 3 points
placing 5-11th place in the May TNS.
 
Evan Rabin scored 3 points, placing 5-11th in May TNS, not playing the last round.
Thomas Carr plays NM Eric Godin in Round 5 of May TNS: draw!
Carr went without a loss, earning 3 points for 5-11th place.
Tom Sifter plays Walter Driscoll in R5 of May TNS.
Driscoll scored 3 points for 5-11th place.
Tom Medrek (left) defends well vs Timothy O'Malley in R5 of TNS,
good for 3 points and a share of 5-11th place.
Brian Costello (right) plays Tony Cortizas in Round 5 of May TNS.
Brian scored 3 points to finish 5-11th place.
