GRANDMASTER LARRY CHRISTIANSEN SIMUL: TUESDAY // OCTOBER 8 // SOUTH STATION // BOSTON AUTUMN // SUNSHINE AFTERNOON // COOL BREEZE

HAVE YOU EVERY PLAYED A CHESS GRANDMASTER?
WELL, NOW'S YOUR CHANCE.
THIS COMING TUESDAY
FROM 5:00 TO 7:00 PM
AT SOUTH STATION'S MAIN
TRAIN HALL
UNDER THE ELECTRONIC
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE BOARD
It's as easy as sitting down, and moving
the black pieces, one move at a time.
Tim O'Malley, Joel Wald and Nathan Smolensky,
Boylston Chess Club players (Nathan is also
president of the BCC and the Massachusetts
Chess Association) try their mind out
on a game of chess vs former 3 time US National
Chess Champion Larry Christiansen.
Larry is friendly and also give you
advice on improving your game.
A family affair: young lad moves as his younger sister
and mother observe. Doc Kinne, (background, center)
who is editor of Chess Horizons, the Massachusetts
state chess magazine observes.
Yes, the lad's father plays too. Here, they share
some father-son thoughts on chess.
SEE YOU THIS TUESDAY!
