BOYLSTON CHESS CLUB
COMMEMORATE GENEROSITY OF
HAROLD DONDIS AND MARK FINS
Harold Dondis, Esq.
(will be 93 years young in
October, God willing . . . )
The Club wanted to name the tournament room
after Harold Dondis, but he deferred
to the man who put chess on the New England map
over the decades of the 20th Century.
Bravo, Harold! Generous and humble.
The Club insisted that Mark's name be on
the TD/Skittles Room. Humble is good;
and recognition is also important!
Bravo, Mark. You and Harold made
BCC Cambridge (40 Norris St.) possible.
BCC President Carey Theil brings the men of honor and
service together to share a word on what makes a chess club
thrive.  Each of us do our part. And we honored two men today
who did a big part in making the BCC Cambridge possible.
Mark Fins cuts the cake to be shared with the
players, parents and guests of the Father's Day
Swiss, on Saturday, June 20, 2015.
Thank you, Mark for sweetening the day!
