Ig Nobel

The BBC had a news article about the Ig Nobel awards, announced at Harvard's Sanders Theatre.

The American science humour magazine, the Annals of Improbable Research, is the inspiration behind the Ig Nobels, which are now in their 26th year.

Boylston CF leaders Andrew and Natasha enjoyed the ceremonies.

in 2004 Christopher Chabris, a chess master, and Daniel Simons won an Ig Nobel award for their remarkable study of selective visual attention.

In my  opinion this could be a source of some blunders in chess when players focused so attentive to certain issues completely miss obvious blunders.
