A number of years ago, during a round at the typically 1000+ participant U.S. Amateur Team East, one of the players fainted or perhaps appeared to be having a heart attack. Somebody called out, "Is there a doctor in the room?"
In response to that a couple of folks, presumably doctors and not just folks who play one on TV, went over and checked out the fellow, and there seemed to be some reasonably favorable resolution.
One of my teammates later joked that had the call been, "Is there a lawyer in the room?" there could have been a stampede.
Is Lawyer Times eligible for this event?
