1st place and a +27 to 2047 rating.
Bravo, Brandon! Well done!

points to share 2-4th place in the open section.

to share 2-4th place with Luke Lung and Nithin Kavi.

U1800 SECTION
SWEET IS VICTORY
BITTER, DEFEAT
David Martin scored 3.5 points to share 1-2nd with
Anath Rangan. [I was paired with David in the last
round, playing the black side of a Bird's Opening.
I got a solid position but failed to break in the center
to secure a draw, and possibly a win.  A good endgame
lesson, a bitter pill to swallow for me.  But, David
played creative chess and congratulations to him!]
