Dr. Alejandro Botta vs Kelsey Liu, Round 1.
Dr. Botta scored a perfect 4-0 to take clear 1st place
in the Open Section.
Kevin Liu vs NM Brandon Wu, Round 1.
Brandon scored 3 points to share 2-4th place.
Brandon Ni vs Jake Garbarino (green), Round 2.
Jake scored 3 points to share 2-4th place.
Zubin Baliga scored 3 points to share 2-4th
place in the Open Section.
U1800 Section
Hermenegildo Neto scored a perfect 4-0 to
take clear 1st place in the U1800 Section.

IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE?
Dr. Chase Garrett Yarbrough, black vs Dr. Robert Oresick;
Ami Lei vs Jeffrey Liu;
Hermenegildo Neto vs Dr. Robert Liberman; Round 2.
Dr. Liberman, retired, a specialist in internal medicine,
had not played a tournament chess game for 45 years
since Yale University. This is his first trip to the BCC.
Dr. L scored 3 points to share 2-3rd place with David Martin.
Welcome to the Club, Dr. Lieberman. Hope to see you
again, soon.  Dr. Yarbrough is finishing up his residency
in pediatrics and internal medicine at Children's Hospital; he
will be moving to Washington State when he finishes.
We'll miss you. Come back to the BCC when you get the
chance. Dr. Oresick, a Ph.D. in Psychology is a retired
dean of Boston University, and a regular at the BCC.
David Martin plays out his endgame draw in Round 1.
