| Description | This is an unrated event. USCF membership and scorekeeping are not required. Further details available at mhscl.org/rules. The Massachusetts High School Chess League (MHSCL) is a chess league for all high school chess players to compete and connect with each other regardless of experience level. Currently consisting of ten schools across the state, the league is for any players looking for competitive play and a community of over 100 students to share advice! During our regular season (January-April), players from the same school compete as a team monthly at the Boylston Chess Club. We also recently launched the MHSCL Grand Prix, an online, individual tournament over a series of Chess.com arenas.
