At sparks, Martin posts a negative review of MDLM's book and improvement approach.
I bought this book in the hopes that I would learn a few tips on improving my game. Of course, what I really mean is that I wanted to see my own chess rating go up. The book did nothing for me, except show me the lengths to which some people will go to achieve their dreams, even if the dream is nothing more than a number....While there is much to critique about the book, especially if you've already read the earlier articles, Martin's post seems to say more about him than the MDLM method.
I enjoy chess, and this method of study would have been anything but enjoyable.
