BCC THURSDAY NIGHT SWISS // SLOW AND INTENSE // WRAP-UP

RABIN AND CARR TOP OPEN SECTION OF JUNE TNS

Evan Rabin (RIGHT) plays NM Eric Godin to a draw, R3, TNS.
Rabin had 3.5 points for 1-2nd in Open Section.
Thomas Carr (right) plays NM Eric Godin in R 4. Carr had 3.5 points
good for 1-2nd in Open Section. Godin had 2.5 points sharing 3-4th place.
Tim O'Malley (right) plays Terrence Fricker, R3: draw.
O'Malley had 2.5 points sharing 3-4th place.
U1800 Section: Tom Sifter sole first place with 3.5 points
Tom Sifter plays black vs Tom Medrek, R3: draw
Joel Wald (right) plays white vs Craig Gillaspie, R3.
Wald had 3 point sharing 2-3rd place.
Frank Frazier plays black vs Adam Palmer in R3.
Frazier scored 3 points sharing 2-3rd place in U1800 Section.
Jonathan Lee, black vs Walter Driscoll, R4.
Chess is often like a boxing match. Sometimes
you have to roll with the punches.

Harold Dondis, at 91 plays a hard game
of chess. Always a welcomed addition
to any tournament at the BCC, 
Harold is a cool dude.
There were 21 players in this event.
Bernardo Iglesias was the TD.
Heads up:  The July Thursday Night Swiss will
begin on July 11th, due to the Independence Day Holiday!
