2011 Boylston Chess Club Blitz Championship won by Robert Perez
Boylston Chess Club newcomer Robert Perez (from Miami) has won the 2011 edition of our Blitz Championship, a strong event with 6 experts and masters. In this double round robin, Robert, rated 2384, ran away with 1st place by yielding only a single point. With 10.5 points, NM Carey Theil edged out expert Emmanuel Mevs for 2nd place.
