BCF to Move by January 1st

Dear friends,

We have received notice that our time in Davis Square is finally coming to an end. We expect to be in a new home by January 1.

Thanks to a lot of hard work by our Search Committee, we have identified several possible new homes. Although none of these locations are perfect, they will all allow us to continue our mission as a non-profit chess organization.

On Tuesday, December 2 at 7:00 PM we will hold a special meeting to consider our options. We intend to make a decision on that day about relocating. The meeting is open to all members, and I encourage you to come.

Moving will require a lot of hard work from everyone. Please be prepared to pitch in, and help with this important transition. In the meantime, we expect to hold all of our December events as usual.

Finally, please keep an eye out for possible spaces. Ideally, we are looking for a home that is near a T line, at least 1,100 square feet in size, and no more than $2,000 per month in rent. If you find a possible rental space, e-mail details to boylstonchess@gmail.com.

With a united front, we will overcome this challenge.

For the entire BCF Board,
Carey Theil, President
