TOP EVENTS OF 2014: BOYLSTON CHESS CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP / HAUPTTURNIER // BRATTAIN / CHASE / 1-2nd // ELDRIDGE / CLEAR 1ST //

NM Mika Brattain scored 7.5 points out of a possible 9 to
tie for 1-2nd Place and earn the title:
Boylston Chess Club co-Champion for 2014.
Mika was +12 to 2455 rating for his efforts. Bravo, Mika!
VETERAN
FM Chris Chase (right), many time former BCC Champion,
(seen here playing NM Chris Williams in Round 2: draw!)
also scored 7.5 points to share 1-2nd place with NM Mika Brattain
and earn the title of BCC co-Champion 2014.
Chris was +18 to 2423 rating! Bravo, Chris!
NM Professor J. Timothy Sage plays black vs 
FM Charles Riordan, BCC 2013 Champion, in Round 2.
Tim secured clear 3rd Place in the event with 6.5 points,
though, losing to Sir Charles in this encounter.
PRESIDENTIAL GAME
NM Mika Brattain plays NM Carey Theil, BCC President,
in Round 2. Mika won this game on the road to a share of
1st place and BCC co-Championship title.

BCC HAUPTTURNIER
Ross Eldridge plays black vs Jonathan Lee in Round 1.
Though Ross lost this encounter, he went on to best Jonathan
 by one point point to secure clear 1st place in this 10 round event,
with 5.5 points. Jonathan had 4.5 points to rank 3rd place.
THE GENERAL

Terrence Fricker scored 5 points to secure
clear 2nd place in the 2014 BCC Hauptturnier.
VETERANS DUKE IT OUT
Frank Frazier played Terrence Fricker to a draw
in Round 1. (background): Ross Eldridge with
black vs Jonathan Lee.

Wow!! I love to play chess but I am not a champion. I want to attend sports related NY events. Actually, I am living in New York and I never attended these events in New York City. SO suggest me upcoming events.
