CHECK THIS CHART OUT.
IT SHOWS THE PERFORMANCE RATING
OF EACH PLAYER

Billy Collin's performance rating was
2199 [over 2200 with the correction!!] pushing his rating to
2137 [actually higher]!  He beat Bill Kelleher on time
in an even position and he won his game with IM Vigorito.
And as Billy explained it, in his game with FM Yip,
she did not claim a "touch move" action
which would have allowed her to win a
rook and the game. Billy drew his game vs
Michael Isakov! Billy drew his game vs Brian Hu!
Check the times on the clocks!
Collins v Kelleher
For some reason the result of Billy and FM Kelleher
shows a draw, though I did witness this game
with Kelleher flagging with mating material
on the board. [I have asked TD Nathan Smolensky
about this and await his reply. Reply in hand, award
one full point to Billy Collins and subtract one full
point from FM Bill Kelleher's score. For Billy C,
a win in drawn position: a credible result for
a blitz game, yes?]
IS THIS FUN OR WHAT? !!!
event chief TD:
A great round of applause for former BCC President
and current Massachusetts Chess Association
President not to forget Editor in Chief of the
world famous Chess Horizons Magazine
Nathan Smolensky. Even when his computer
crashed right in the middle of a pairing announcement,
Nathan was cool under fire. I didn't even see him
get the slightest bit flustered. He was rock solid,
nerves of steel. Bravo, Nathan!
No kidding, folks, this guy is good.
What's a chess tournament without the
cash prizes?  So:
Nathan divides the cash for the winners: Varun Krishnan,
Alexander Katz and Brian Hu.
What a day, what a chess event!
