About a year ago or so, former BCC member Chikwere Onyekwere played in several of our tournaments -- defeating some of the club's best players and taking several first place prizes. Now, Nigeria Chess Players Forum reports that Chikwere has won the Nigerian Chess Championship. In addition, he will be representing Nigeria in the upcoming Chess Olympiad in Turin, Italy.In a separate post, they list his chess accomplishments from 1999-2006 (including his successes at the Boylston Chess Club).
