Dear chess players,
In order to get our club going strong again, we would like to announce that our event on April 10th WILL HAPPEN. Special event details below. Exciting, huh? Come and support our club as we seek to recover from the flooding.
April 10th Event -- The BCF Underwater $10 Open
$10 if received by 4/9; at the door $17 for members, $27 non-members
(If you tried to enter in the last $10 Open, just come to the door and your entry will be honored)
LOCATION-- To be announced. (Either our normal chess club or an undisclosed alternate site). Wait for details on Monday/Tuesday. (It is like those roving underground after-parties!!)
Time: Registration 9:15 – 9:55 ; Rounds 10, 12:40, 3:00, 5:10.
Two Sections, Open and Under 1800 (if 5 players per section).
