Yes, we have all been waiting patiently for the arrival of the
New England Open Chess Championship
Yet, not all of us have three days, or even two days
to devote to chess this coming Labor Day Weekend.
Some of us might not have the cash to spend
on the entry fee and/or the hotel room.
Others may not have readily available
transportation to the site in Leominster.
So, the BCC is
providing an option:
A one day event for less than half the
entry fee of the NE Open,
SATURDAY, AUGUST 31ST
and centrally located by
public transportation
or easy-access by car.
You get 4 rounds of 60/SD
quality chess.
PLUS: if you are a chess addict,
and are rated U2000,
you can play the BCC event
and register for the 2 day
NE Open event, on Sunday and Monday!
You see: you have many options
to consider.
YOU CAN HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT!
