Allen won his quad with 2.5 points. Bowen was 3rd with 1.5 points.

Brotherly Love: Rohan Shankar plays black vs younger
brother Sandeep Shankar. Rohan scored a perfect 3-0
to take top prize in Quad 3. Sandeep was 3rd with 1 points.

A big smile: Richard Kahn faces 8 yr old photographer prodigy
Sammi Pan. This portrait of Richard is just one of many
masterpieces of Sammi who is a natural for capturing
the radiance of human energy. Bravo SammiPan.
And bravo Richard for taking clear 2nd place in Quad 3
with 1.5 points. Richard sponsored the "Elaine Kahn Memorial"
(11/17/2012) in memory of his wife which IM David Vigorito
won and Mike Griffin took the U1800 prize.. This is the first time Richard
is playing at the BCC since the death of his wife. We welcome him
back and wish him continued good health and good chess!

Michael scored 2 points sharing 2-3rd place with
Sammi Pan. This is Michael's first tournament
at the BCC: "Welcome Michael."
Wang brothers Alan and Eddie win Quads 2
and 4 respectively. This is second brother pair
playing in event, along with Shankar brothers.
(ps: Eddie Wei has 4 yr old brother. So we'll
have Evan to look forward to seeing in 2 or so
years.)

focused girl, with deep intuition,
