KID'S TABLE ROUND 2
 Raymond Xu vs Evan Wei;
Joy Cao vs Arjun Girish
[I went over this game between Joy and Arjun rather
extensively; a great battle between two beginners!
Though the analysis shows that Arjun had the win in
his pocket, early on, it is to Joy's credit and sparking optimism
that she fought back and won the game. Actually, Arjun blundered
a piece from inattention rather than stealth. The game might have
otherwise ended in a draw. This highlights that chess is not only
an intellectual exercise, a puzzle-solving activity, but also a battle
to stay alert and attentive to all your pieces on all parts of the board:
not an easy task for the masters, let alone the novices! Good game kids!]
Joy Cao vs Arjun Girish, BCC August Quads, 2014 Round 1:

Two young beginners maneuver to an agreed draw!

Have you thought about E-Safety for KIDS - by NOT publishing their surnames WITH their names?
