Alejandro scored a total of 13.5 points but missed 2nd place
by half a point. Ben is visiting from New Orleans LA and
has played the legendary Jude Acers in a simul, spurning the
draw for a pawn, and then losing the endgame.
Ben won the U1800 prize with 9.5 points, attaining a
BCC Blitz rating of 1550. Bravo, Ben!
Joe Perl plays black vs Nikita Roldan-Levchenko. Joe scored
14 points for clear 2nd place in the event. Nikita scored 8.5
points and was in line to win the U1800 prize but was out-scored
by Ben Parker who scored 9.5 points. (background, left to right): Alejandro
